Who says you need flowers to "create interest" in a garden?
no, you don't need flowers! Your photos are amazing. Love the textures and shapes of those foliages! I think over the time, I am learning to appreciate the benefit of the foliages more and more. Even when most of the bloomings quit in the winter, the foliages are still standing there to add the constant color and interests into the garden. Thank you for the beautiful post.
I need a cherry coke badly!!! Love the striped bamboo. I've seen the costus before, but that photography really does it justice! Beautiful!
HIThanks for the visit, and the book looks good. WIll certainly look out for it. I have been checking out http://www.urbansketchers.com/ - it's an interesting place if you are interested in illustrations.I like yr pics esp the circles. Amazing looking leaves.
i love tropical textures and doing close ups of all the variegations and details really show unique impressions...nice jobplants do make nice abstracts!
WOW!! Great textures and interest! I think my favorite is the spiral, although I really like the starburst, strips, circles....OK...I really like them all!!! :)
Don't tropicals remind you of great modern art? Probably why I have an affinity for both.
Those are absolutely GREAT photos. Foliage really is as amazing and beautiful as flowers.
