We have a area too that is wet and sometimes has standing water for a day or two in summer. It's amazing how many plants will tolerate it and perform well. It's been a fun learning experience for me. I'll have to include some of the plants you listed, as well.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01106128705768954876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4288778153586473465.post-2000928743151024192010-06-06T07:18:52.976-04:002010-06-06T07:18:52.976-04:00Your garden area looks so good! Perfect.

Panda is so cute! I have Andy, the Bichon, to 'water' my plants. He seems to pick on just certain ones. He also tramples a few while chasing lizards. But, like you say about Panda, I love him.

BTW - I noticed some bloodlilies at a neighboring house just because of your post. Yours look much fluffier though:)NanaKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02425496284594894548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4288778153586473465.post-5500190717419684072010-06-05T22:02:52.289-04:002010-06-05T22:02:52.289-04:00Hooray for rainy season! The swamp seems to be encroaching previously dry land by about ten feet right now. It's been so rainy! And stormy as well. Huge branches have fallen, and a snag I posted a photo of from last weekend snapped in half Thursday evening! Not to mention the neighborhood on the north side of the property had a couple sections of privacy fencing fall down.

Anyway, your gardens look so green and lush again. And Panda looks perfectly innocent there.Floridagirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16357453320897720393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4288778153586473465.post-58884327277613296252010-06-04T23:19:26.416-04:002010-06-04T23:19:26.416-04:00My garden is loving this afternoon showers too! ...My garden is loving this afternoon showers too! But the bugs are another story. I just came back from the garden, and itchy all over with mosquito bites, ugh! Your "Panda" looks very cute and does have a innocent look, and seems he knew you are talking about him :)

Your birds' Nest fern looks very lush. Looks like it is still in the container. Are you going to put it in the ground eventually? Mine is in the container as well. I was planning to put them in the ground once I can open another shade bed. Right now it sits in my front patio.

Have a good weekend!Amihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07744078497819915126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4288778153586473465.post-85812427481070281672010-06-04T15:59:21.729-04:002010-06-04T15:59:21.729-04:00I just love when all the little critters come and ...I just love when all the little critters come and visit my garden. (mosquitos excluded) I have frogs, dragon flies, bees, butterflies, rabbits, snakes, bats, salamanders and all kinds of birds. (The list goes on.) I enjoy sitting out and just taking all the activity in. :)Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16383764930818194645noreply@blogger.com
